This is supposed to be really, really good. Haven't seen it yet though.

Photographer Brian Skerry shoots life above and below the waves — as he puts it, both the horror and the magic of the ocean. Sharing amazing, intimate shots of undersea creatures, he shows how powerful images can help make change.
“The ocean is not a grocery store…”

The Tree of Life
(The New World is one of my favorite movies!)
&
Black Swan
(The Fountain is one of my favorite movies!)
need to be in theatres already.
Also: Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Inception. I am in love, but then again - who isn't?!
More: Ralph and Joseph Fiennes are ridiculously talented actors. Love both of them.
Watched 'The English Patient' after reading the book. Wasn't a big fan of Kristin Scott Thomas but Juliette Binoche as Hana was genuis.
I think I would have preferred if the movie had focused more on Kip's and Hana's relationship as the book does, instead of Katherine's and Almásy's.
One thing is for sure: Michael Ondaatje constructs gorgeous, gorgeous sentences. Need to read more of his.
"We die containing the richness of lovers and tribes, tastes we have swallowed, bodies we have plunged into and swum up as if rivers of wisdom, characters we have climbed into as if trees, fears we have hidden in as if caves. I wish for all this to be marked on my body when I am dead. I believe in such cartography - to be marked by nature, not just to label ourselves on a map like the names of rich men and women on buildings. We are communal histories, communal books. We are not owned or monogamous in our taste or experience. All I desired was to walk upon an earth that had no maps."
Y'all need to watch this.
It's basically the 'Single Ladies' of 2010.
Or at least the dance moves are.
It's crazy cool.
I wanna be able to dance like that. Hell, I wanna have that much control over my body.
Just add me and I'll add you back. Simple as that.
